Denial

In complete defiance, some might say denial, of the wet, gloomy weather today and the forecast of rain/snow for the next few days, I'm posting these photos taken on a gloriously sunny day last Tuesday. And hoping that the people at the National Weather Service are right about the sun coming back later in the week. Enjoy.

Snow shadows, tiny tracks, and Queen Anne's Lace

It started out as just a Sunday afternoon walk on a sunny, late winter day. But the light was so perfect and the shadows on the snow so fascinating, that it quickly became more of a photo session. Oh, I still got my walk in, it just takes longer when the camera is along.

An elm still holding on to it's leaves - maybe because it's in a protected spot.
